Some Locals Complain That Dr. Dre And Ice Cube -- Born Andre Young And O’Shea Jackson -- Turned Their Backs On The City. They Declined To Be Interviewed. “What Are These People That Are Millionaires Doing Other Than Getting More Millions By Using Compton As A Prop?” Said Benjamin Holifield, President Of The Compton Business Chamber Of Commerce. “They Went Straight Out Of Compton And Didn't Do Anything For Us.”(By Anousha Sakoui and John Gittelsohn for Bloomberg Business July 28, 2015)
In 2013 Andre "Dr.Dre" Young & Jimmy Iovine The Founder Of Interscope Records, Donated $70 Million To USC, Yes I Said 70 Million Dollars, 35 Million Dollars Each. At The Time USC Had A $3.5-Billion Endowment.
Andre "Dr.Dre" Young First Made His Millions From The Inner City!
He Didn't Find His Latest Artist, "Kendrick Lamar" @ USC He Found Him In Compton, How Many More Kendrick Lamar's Would He Find If He Invested In His Own Home Town.
Jimmy Iovine Has Made Millions From The Inner City!
Interscope Was Founded In 1990 By Jimmy Iovine & Interscope Communications' Ted Field. The Original Focus Of The Label Was On Hip-Hop And Urban Music.

Jimmy Iovine & Interscope Are Still Making Millions From The Inner City But He Donates $35 Million To USC.
I Would Like To See Andre "Dr.Dre" Young Go To Jimmy Ioven & Say Hey I Matched Your $35 Million Donation To Your Daughter's College Alma Mater Now Match My $35 Million Donation To My Home Town Of Compton & See What Happen, Not A Damn Thing, Because Neither One Of Them Care About The Inner City Unless The Inner City Is Buying Their Products. My Mother Use To Say, The Best Way To Get The Attention Of A Company Is To Hit Them In Their Wallet By Not Buying Their Products.
As I Recently Drove Through The City Of Compton (Just As I Figured) What Do I See? Huge Posters Of The Upcoming “Straight Outta Compton Movie” Plastered Everywhere. Oh; But I Didn't Stop There. I Decided To Drive By USC As Well And What Did I See (Not One “Straight Outta Compton Movie Poster” Nowhere Around) At Least Not Yet. But Maybe After They Read This They’ll Decide To Put Them In The USC Vicinity As Well.
So Please If Anybody Knows Of Anything That Andre "Dr.Dre" Young & O’Shea “Ice Cube” Jackson Have Done For The City Of Compton Let Me Know. They Need To Step It Up Like Kendrick “Lamar” Duckworth & Jayceon “The Game” Taylor Because These Two Artists Are Well Known For Continually And Generously Donating And Giving Back To The City Of Compton.
P.S. Bottom Line (Of Course It's Their Money) And (Of Course Bottom Line It’s My Money That I Have Chosen Not To Spend On Their Movie)!!
