Re: Greetings fellow classmates! Next Year We'll Be Doing The Speed Limit! 55!
Hey Lester, I agree with Wayne and Janet. The Las Vegas Class of 1975 "55 Yr. Old" Class Reunion sounds like a great idea (for our 1975 Classmates who are able to come). Suggestion: Just keep in mind that some of our Classmates may be out of work right now and may not be able to pay to even come to an intown L.A. Reunion, let alone a Las Vegas one in which they will be unable to afford to pay for (gasoline or airline ticket, hotel resevation and for their reunion ticket) to come out to the Las Vegas Reunion (but once again for those Classmates who can afford to then that will be great). Another Suggestion: As the Treasurer of several of our Class Reunions, one of the hardest things to do is to get Classmates or Alumni to pay for their tickets upfront and/or even by the deadline date. Keep in mind that the majority of people will say that they will be coming and will inadvertently wait until the last minute to pay or try to pay for their ticket(s) after the deadline or will change their minds alltogether and will not pay for the Reunion: possibly leaving you financially hanging (which is utter nonsense) and can be maddening to say the least (because a simple phone call ahead of time to say that they can't make it would have sufficed). Okay Lester, I'll keep my eyes and ears open to see what you guys decide to do!! Love and Blessings, Phoebe
