I feel she just had a few favourite pieces that she wore over and over again and changing the central diamonds to rubies was mixing it up a bit without straying too far.
She basically wore Emma's diamond tiara in the small setting, the ornate pearl tiara, the sapphire tiara and the mellerio ruby tiara. Occasionally wearing the pearl button, the antique pearl tiara, emerald tiara or the aquamarine tiara.
The first four were repeated often and worn for the most important visits.
We never saw her in her own first tiara the Bandeau a la Grecque. That would have looked good with her turquoise earrings.
She did not wear the ears of wheat either, but that was probably due to it not fitting with her hairstyle. It would be nice to see it on Queen Maxima. I loved it on Laurentien when she attended the wedding of Haakon and Mette-Marit.
