So I think it will be rubies, preferably the peacock tiara, which suits the Queen much better than the prongish Mellerio tiara. And please the peacock necklace as well, I long to see it again!
Queen Margrethe will most likely use the Orange Nassau pearl tiara for one night, because of its provenance and because itís one of the largest in her collection.
Mary and Marie only have two tiaras each, so there is not much to choose from. Benedikte will probably go for the fringe and the star tiara. And to see Princess Elisabeth again with her two tiaras would be absolutely lovely. Iím afraid she is no longer as fit as she used to be, so I hope sheíll be well enough to attend.
And a little dream: what if Margrethe got into loaning-mood and Mary wore the Baden palmette tiara for the 2nd evening? Not much of a chance, but one is allowed to dream. Another dream: the Queen has bought the lava parure from her Rosenborg relatives and decides to give it an airing. The fringe of Queen Alexandrine would be even better, but that one is most certainly not up for sale yet.
Oh, better stop before I get too much carried away.
