I once covered the Stock Car Races in Price,, Utah, for the newspaper there. The editors didn't want to bother with it and told me if I covered it, my family could get in free. So I did. And my husband fell in love with it...ended up getting a sponsor or two got a car and rebuilt it for the track. I never drove it, but I painted and lettered on it, and he drove it once. The we got a driver. Bill was already on crutches from the rh arthritis and had trouble with reaction. But he loved the project and had a ball doing it.
