I live on the coast between Coos Bay and Gold Beach. Oregon is a beautiful state but home prices, and even rentals have been pumped up to the point you need to have inherited land here or been rich, to afford a place. It you apply, there are low income apartments sometimes. Even an old old house rents for over $1000 a month.
