After church and lunch with friend, we visited a member in a nursing home. She is 101 and lives in asst living. She took a fall in her apt and cracked a hip, in hosp, now in nursing care floor for rehab and going back up to her apt in a few days. WE found her playing scrabble in the dining room. She is remarkable. So active and always alert, ect Was so glad to see us and called another friend of our visit before we could get home and report the visit to our friend--LOL Seeing her and spending time with her sure made us feel like we had an extra special good day today. One of her 2 daughters and SIL are 77, they are on vacation touring Greece and now are in Croatia, seem to be following in Jan's good health and footsteps. Until the last few yrs, they used to go to a foreign country and build a home for an elderly couple thru a church charity.
