I quit a job I had at a blouse making factory. We arrived 4 minutes late, the foreman called us (4) into his office and told us he was writing us up. It had been snowing. I quit. I went straight to the unemployment office and signed up. The other 3 quit, too, and one of them had some gin. I got home, looked at my husband and told him I'd quit and why..and that I had sampled gin for the first time in my life. I then told him I needed a nap. He ended up fixing supper for the kids while I 'napped'.
