We always had cats in our family. Most of them were indoor/outdoor cats who spent most of their time outdoors when the weather was nice, coming inside only to eat and sleep. Living on the 26th floor the cats would not have access to the outdoors. Also, I'm afraid that they might get out on the balcony and try to jump on to the handrail, possibly falling 26 floors.
