I had a used Pontiac Firebird Formula from the seventies. It was white with a thin red stripe on the side. It was a fun car to drive, but New York City is not a car friendly town. Once I started work I lived in Queens but worked in Manhattan. Parking cost hundreds of dollars in Manhattan and in Queens and that was the end of me owning a car. The subways were close by, convenient and punctual.
