When I first got bad symptoms of Diabetes, my memories began fading away. I cried in Bill's arms because I thought I had dementia. It was the diabetes! My husband told me to get a notebook and write down everything, all the stories and such that had happened in my life. I did that, but it seemed at times to be just stories I'd heard about someone else! When we got the diabetes under control, they became real memories again.
