Yes, I have gotten revenge. It was against my crazy mother-in-law. She was the mother-in-law from hell. We had a terrible screaming fight over my trees. She was nuts and thought squirrels were in them tape-recording her. I refused to cut them down when the sewer went through our area and one day when the sewer authority was down the road working she asked some of the workers to come up and cut down my favorite tree. She told them she was my MIL and we changed our mind and wanted our trees cut down now. They cut my beautiful, little Japanese maple down. I was livid when I came home and saw it. She laughed in my face.

This was back when the internet was new. I was telling a friend this and they gave me a site called Revenge R Us. If you had an enemy you wanted revenge on, they would do it. They were just two guys who would do this service. They said they would not do anything illegal or terrible, just fitting and you would never have to hear from them again.

I filled out their questionaire which was how much revenge do you want...slight, medium, and really turn it on high. I picked medium. Then they said tell them a little about what happened. I did. And I told them she hated my trees. What she did and how she also hated dogs and kids. Then I hit send.

A few weeks later I saw her out of my kitchen window. She saw me and stood there with her hands on her hips and glared at me like she hated me. They must have done something. I don't know what they did, but it sure seemed like something got to her.

I don't think they did anything awful. Probably signed her up for junk mail from tree places or the Arbor Day place or signed her up for telephone messages. Just guessing.
