Can you remember things either your mother or your father taught you how to do the basics?

With Mom, she taught me how to have fun with a fry pan, some bacon and eggs, and some butter out early in the wee hours as the sun rose. She taught me that green wood makes a poor fire, that you don't start a fire with cacti, and that doing something new is always a fun diversion!

With Dad? He taught me how to handle honeybees, how to fish for catfish, and if the shrimp your using for bait doesn't catch a fish, how to devein the shrimp, and cook them on a stick then eat them!
