I lived in Milan New Mexico and there were lots of them around there. I didn't know how they nested and raised babies. It looked like they didn't like the ones that squawked and threw them out! And the poor dove, was just trying to steal a ready-made nest! Birds can be mean. I can see dinosaurs being their forefathers...
