My friend Jan who has been my BFF for over 50 years. She's bossy, strong, sensitive and loyal, so loyal. She is a dog trainer and handler and knows everything about dogs.

Then there's Jackie, another friend of over 50 years. Irish, red-haired and so much fun. We partied a lot and she became an alcoholic. She eventually joined AA and we drifted apart. She said she couldn't hang around with friends from her past if she wanted to recover. We lost track of each other until recently when we became reacquainted on Facebook.
