In October 2019 it was suggested that she had become privately engaged to Paritat Bunnag, from a Thai noble family with descent from Persian royalty. The couple were formally photographed with the King, and it was expected that she would be officially named as Thailand’s first female heir to the throne. However no public statement was ever made about her engagement or status as heir.
