Today (26 october 2021), The Japanese Crown Princely couple's eldest daughter - HIH Princess Mako of Akishino - married her longtime fiancée Mr Kei Komuro. The wedding was very low key.

By marrying a commoner, Mako is no longer a member of the Japanese Imperial Family (as happened in 2005 to her paternal aunt Sayako when she married her commoner husband Mr Yoshiki Kuroda and became a mere Mrs Sayako Kuroda), she will be known as Mr Mako Komuro from now on. Due to the controversy around her fiancées family, the former princess declared some time ago already, that she'll refuse the usual dowry of £ 1 mio.

It is said, that the couple shall move to the USA, where Mr Komuro works as a lawyer.

May they find happiness and enjoy a lovingly happy future as a married couple.
