The crown prince no doubt is ruthless but he is also the man who took on the corruption of his own extended family and is slowly modernising the country. Women would not be allowed the drive if it wasn't for him. So yes he is brutal and possibly mixed up in all sorts of things no Western leader could get away with but he also is trying to modernise the country and open it up and has to deal with orthodoxy, corruption and those wanting everything done yesterday.
