Interesting times in Thailand. Once revered, I wonder how long the monarchy can last in this country, especially since the king himself seems uninterested and spends most of his time in Germany.

I wonder why the King spends so much time abroad. Doesn't he see the risk he is creating for the monarchy?
Quite a fascinating character, if you like authoritarian leaders! He manages to rule because the government protects him so they can stay in power. "Why do we need a king ?"is a cry that protesters who are brave enough ask. They don't deserve this one, in my opinion.
