The current Sultan of Johor has a very interesting European ancestry. His mother was a British commoner who grew up in Cornwall, England however looking further back into his family tree, in the 1870s, Abu Bakar, Sultan of Johor (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Bakar_of_Johor), who died in 1895 married as his second wife in 1870, Cecilia Catherina Lange, who was the daughter of a Danish trader, Mads Johansen Lange and his Chinese partner Nonna Sangnio. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mads_Johansen_Lange).
Cecilia took the Muslim name of Zubaidah and produced two children including Sultan Ibrahim, who is the current Sultan of Johor's great-grandfather.
The current Sultan's sister is married to the Sultan of Pahang and is the current Malaysian Queen Consort, so Cecilia can claim to be the ancestress of not one but two Malaysian monarchies - there may even be more, finding a comprehensive list of all Malaysian royals is near impossible with Sultans and princes having multiple wives and therefore children and there has been a lot of intermarriage between the Royal Families of Malaysia over the generations.
The current Queen of Johor still wears the tiara belonging to Cecilia Catharina Lange.
