You are right, Damian. It's a tricky situation of the sort which have largely disappeared in a world in which marriages between reigning houses have becoming rarer than they once were.
He has posted on Twitter a picture with his sister "Today With My Sister and Apple of My Eye Haya Bint Al Hussein."

I presume this means he was in London today as today was the second and final day in the two day preliminary Court hearing, which Princess Haya attended. The UK press reported today there will be a further hearing in the Winter.
Quite natural for Prince Ali to be the first family member to be publicly seen by her side. After all she is his full sister (both being the children of the late Queen Alia, King Hussein's third wife) and they are obviously very close.
Not sure however what particular "guns" he can bring to bear in his sister's battle with her powerful husband other than moral support. Compared to the resources at the disposal of the Emir of Dubai I doubt he will be able to offer much in the way of financial support.
Will be interesting to see if her half-brother King Abdullah and other family members will come out and openly offer her support or will it take the form of something more quiet and subtle given the obvious risk of a possible diplomatic breach with the Emir. A tricky one indeed for anyone on Princess Haya's side.
