I was also struck by that enduring connection when I saw the post on Prince Leka's Instagram. It's interesting that it has lasted through the generations.

By the way, I just recently re-read Hugh McLeave's 1969 biography of King Farouk, *The Last Pharaoh*. It's worth a read for those interested in that monarch. Not particularly sympathetic, but more so that much that has been written about him, and I'd say fair.
