Dear Sir;
I can not help you with that,although I have little contact inside the sultan's dynasty of Sulu(several branches).
The dynasty is divided and until now no one really is giving up his right to the throne.So for a unified cultural sultanate of Sulu we still have to wait.In Indonesia the same.Some dynasties are divided,but no one wants to give in,because the normal control elements of society of royalty and for sure nobility and people is weakened,or made very little.
So to many royals can claim for long without any real hope for solving the problem.
The royal things are also a bit more a political and fanatical things,than in Indonesia.That also prevents the royalties to solve the problem of division of the dynasty.
Only God can give the wisdom in the heart to let do that.I heard from Indonesia that at least in one case one rival withdraw.But I am still very doubting about it.In Europe we also have all kind of dynasties(non-ruling)divided.
Ruling and non-ruling dynasties can play a very benevolent role in each society/country,but we must leave sometimes our places,where we feel safe.
I think the only real reason for unification can be feelings of effection and respect(re3al one's)for each other.
