Thank you for the links to the Sultans websites. I guess it is inevitable that the Princely Dynasties would eventually use the internet to further their claims. As for rival claims, they exist anywhere you can think of. For example, IIRC, in Ghana the House of Chiefs didn't have enough numbers for a quorum, because over a third of the positions were under litigation due to succession disputes. There are too many other countries where such disputes occur regularly, Samoa, Fiji, nearly all the South African tribal polities, many former Indian princely States etc.
