However, as Christopher has pointed out, he was unstinting in playing the race card against Yi Ku, and there are questions about his backing. The family has of course selected someone else as crown prince, and I wish Yi Seok would get behind that guy instead of being so self-promoting. The Korean system for selecting the head of household has much to recommend it, in that the rules are not so strict that they get trapped into naming a total incompetent as HoH, but on the other hand, it does leave some room for other contenders to argue.
