BIOCHEM PREREQ

So I noticed most AA programs only require 1 semester of organic chem, but they also require a semester of biochem. I know they don't like introductory courses, so im just wondering how people take Biochem without having taken organic 2? Please let me know!

I don't believe all universities require Organic Chemistry 2 as a prerequisite to Biochemistry -- though most people who enter AA School are generally science majors who take Orgo 1 & 2.

At the time I took Biochemistry at the University of South Florida they didn't require Organic Chem 2 as a prerequisite. Only Orgo 1.

Im at Emory. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. You can go at your own pace as long as you finish the course before the end of the semester.
