Hello, I am interested in attending AA school and am trying to figure out how I can make it work with my family situation and specifically my husband’s businesses. He owns three businesses where we live and is really sweating leaving them for 2 years, understandably. I think one year would be more do-able if we could move for the first year of heavy didactic and then do clinicals near my home. I live near Tallahassee Florida and I know there are some rotations nearby. My question is to those that have gone through or are in the programs. Are there any programs that would be able to help me find most rotations near my home in the north Florida, South Georgia area? Would they work with me on that or is that completely not possible? Thank you in advance.

Hi, to be honest if you want to do AA moving may be a sacrifice you will have to make. Rotations are based off what is available to the school. You have South University's program you can look into that would be close to home(or Tampa's program). You can literally be all over the country for rotations. Its a couple of people in my program that husband/children live in another state. I dont know what type of support system you have, but It does take a village to have a family and make it through the program. But I think if You are willing to be away from your family for what is basically two years and your husband is willing to take on the extra burden, I will say you can do it and your sacrifice will pay off ten fold. Good look I hope you do become an AA.
