OK so who else submitted close to the deadline and then freaked out about getting an interview? I am. I am curious as to the criteria used to give interviews at both NOVA campuses. My total GPA isn't stellar due to my BA being obtained a while ago and being young and not focused but since starting to strive for becoming an AA I have only gotten one B+ everything else has been A's. I also scored acceptable on the GRE, 302, I am hoping that they review experience as a contributing factor? Any words of advice or support would be greatly appreciated. -Hoping to get an interview soon-

Hi I am also, I haven't heard anything since Ive submitted my application Im already planning to get ready and apply for next application cycle! My GRE score is what could possible hinder me during the application round! I'm also hoping they favor healthcare experience over someone who doesn't have any! and my personal statement helps. Just keep hope and a positive attitude !
I really wish someone would could enlighten us on the process of how long should we figure out we didn't get accepted or not !

Me too. My GRE wasn't out of this world a 302 and my GPA from my degree 20+ years ago was not great, since starting this mission to be an AA my grades in all the prereqs have been great. I am hoping that my health care background will offset those lower scores. What was your healthcare background and GRE score if I may inquire?

I think you should be fine with your GRE score, if you don’t get an invite this cycle maybe apply early? I plan on taking a prep class this May if I don’t get in to see if that improves my score! The score I have is 290 :/ and healthcare background I was a circulator tech for surgical procedures in the O.R, worked as a circulator on a medical mission trip for general and urology cases, research focusing on central lines, and as an anesthesia tech. working side by side with many AA’s. I have over 8,000 hours with an upward trend along with good grades in prerequisites also, so just hoping this helps my application

Fingers crossed for you. I'm hoping but planning on applying as early as possible next cycle if I don't get in. AS well as redoing the GRE to try and get even higher. I will also take some of the other classes to broaden my application schools. I'll keep my toes crossed for both of us.
