Cost of attendance

Does anyone have an idea of what programs are the least expensive?

South is very close to 100k tuition (not sure if I'm supposed to disclose the amount), and I end up getting around 2000$ for living expenses each month. If I take out max loans--which I am currently-- it will come to ~150k total (but I am planning on getting a couple rotations in cities where I have friends/family to stay with so may end up giving back some of that loan money)

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but when I went on an interview at a program, one interviewee said he got accepted into Colorado, which is the cheapest to attend. I think Case Western is pretty cheap depending on the location. The tuition is $64K first year and $56K second year, which adds up to $120K. But cost of living in the three locations is different and the program is a total of 70 credit hours compared to the other programs, which are 100+ hours. So I don’t know how much the extra three months in the other programs compare to CWRU. After that, I would say NSU is third since one of the students said he was able to rent a house with two other roommates for $700 a month in Ft. Lauderdale. At the end, I believe the cost to attend any of the programs all come out to be around the same.

Just so you know, none of the programs I looked at were drastically less or more in terms of cost. Not when you consider starting salaries and 10 year loan forgiveness. I don't care if I take out an extra 10k because I plan to work 10-15 hours OT or per diem most weeks.

What is concerning is that I was told they can only give me 1300 per month for living costs.

Wait, I take that back, UC Denver if you live in state is cheaper at 70k before living expenses. So someone living with family in aurora might have the best deal.

I was told by the director that Nova Ft Lauderdale is about 110k just for tuition. He said he calculated it. I think it may be a little off, I was told it should be 120k ish debt with everything after. Housing, food, etc. Some programs have the data

I think that's really low including housing if tuition is that much. Just assuming COL as around 18k, 150k seems like a more reasonable estimate

I think you perhaps mixed some figures up. I can see the 120k figure, but that's not 110k tuition + 10k housing/food/etc. I can easily spend 10k in a mere 6 months on housing/food/etc in South Florida. and Nova's brochure actually states to expect ~19k/year for living expenses.

I'm pretty sure it's something like $65k for tuition, $5k for books, $45k for living expenses and $5k for fees and other. This adds up to the $120k figure and would make sense.

Ballpark 120-130k all done. That is what I was told by fin. aide people.

Yeah, I think this is correct, including living expenses.
