Yeah, what I'm leaning on is my GRE and the fact that almost all the pre-requisites were A's. I also have a B.S. from a pretty well regarded University.

When I said recent, I meant I have just completed the app within the past few weeks (was waiting on a letter). How often have you checked on your app? Do you mind sharing the contact you emailed? Did you just pop in and say that you have recently applied, checking to make sure everything was received well and if all looks okay?
