Nova 'Rejection' Letters?

Hi all, recently applied to both Nova programs, but was curious about their decision making process. Will they typically send a 'rejection' letter if they are passing on you? If so....will they send these out immediately after deciding, or wait until the very last of the interviews to send these out to everyone?

Just curious, as life will sort of be 'in limbo' until I know if I will be potentially matriculating in May. Thanks in advance!

I honestly haven't heard of anyone being rejected yet from Nova. I'm also applying this cycle and waiting to hear back from them. I think no one really shares their information if they did get rejected, in my opinion. What's your stats?

~3.0 cGPA, but A's on 80% of the pre-req courses

GRE: Q-158, V-155, W-4.5

Solid letters, a lot of shadowing, have owned my own business a couple of years.

Really hopeful, have wanted to get into this program for quite some time!

Your GPA is kinda low, but your GRE looks strong. Hopefully the rest of the components of your application looks great and you could get an interview. I'd would email/see them to get more word on your stats.

Yeah, what I'm leaning on is my GRE and the fact that almost all the pre-requisites were A's. I also have a B.S. from a pretty well regarded University.

When I said recent, I meant I have just completed the app within the past few weeks (was waiting on a letter). How often have you checked on your app? Do you mind sharing the contact you emailed? Did you just pop in and say that you have recently applied, checking to make sure everything was received well and if all looks okay?

I check my app several times a week. I simply hate the wait, but I know it's something I must endure. I didn't email anyone. I am fortunate enough to live in Tampa near the NSU Tampa branch. I went there personally and spoke to the advisers about the AA program. They told me they did receive my app and will get back to me when they're ready. Looking to get a response soon.

How are you checking your app? Does it say anything pertinent on it to know your status?

I just look at any updates on the CASAA website and the Nova website. I've called them a few times as well.

I was about to ask the same thing, as on WebStar and CASAA it doesn't seem there's any area for it to update farther than it already is (everything confirmed and accounted for).

Perhaps I will just wait it out until late November, then send a friendly email? Ah, this is the hardest part, the unknowing!
