MCAT is good, GPA is competitive for some programs, most notably, Nova, as they list 3.2 competitive. The higher the better, obviously. Your experience is great, but definitely make sure you get your anesthesia shadowing, they won't consider you a candidate if you don't. I was just accepted to nova with a 3.2, 157 verbal and 159 quant, with 20 hours anesthesia shadowing and 100+ total shadowing. I also had over 100+ hours volunteering with hospice. I think you should fare well as an applicant, just make sure to finish up everything quickly and apply soon. I was told to apply by november to best be competitive, but I applied in July, earliest possible.|
