South Univ Interview

Hey everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has interviewed at South and could provide some tips on the actual interview questions or just how chillax or scary the entire day went... My interview is coming up later this month and my nerves are getting the best of me.

it's not bad. you have three separate interviews but you're always with another applicant. when is your interview?

Out of all of the interviews I think they asked the most random questions. Like they wanted me to do a lot of calculations in my head that I just couldn’t do. I think they just want to see how you respond to pressure so whatever you answer just act certain of it and don’t question yourself. I don’t think they like that. If I think of anything else I’ll let you know. When is your interview?

Also, how exactly does the interview work since you are paired with someone the whole time

My interview is march 23. Were you accepted ? Did they ask anything that you couldn't think of an answer too ? Maybe any behavioral or situational questions

and the last one you're also by yourself so it's just one on one.

Yes I was accepted. So the first two interviews there were two people interviewing us and they just switched off between the two of us asking us questions. And they never asked us the same questions really I don't think. They asked me some questions that I thought were harder than what they asked the other applicant. Like one question they gave me some random volumes of things and asked me what the concentration would be and I had no clue so I just guessed and I just stuck with my answer when they asked me if I was sure. Then the last interview it's just one person and they asked a lot of random questions that I wasn't sure of. So I'm sure there will be some questions you don't know the answer to, but as long as you stay calm you'll be fine.

I can't remember specifics but I feel like they all had to do with anesthesia, not random stuff like other schools asked. If I remember any I will let you know
