Emory Personal Statement and CASAA essay

Hello!
I am currently working on my personal statement for Emory and the prompt says that you can cut and paste from your CASAA application. Both the prompts for the Emory personal statement and CASAA essay are similar and I was wondering if it is better to have two different essays or is it ok to cut and paste from the CASAA essay. There would be few differences in the essays since Emory's personal statement question is a little bit more specific, but I wanted to know if it would look bad to copy and paste. I would really appreciate advise from someone who had previously applied to Emory and how they went about submitting the essays.

Not that it matters, but I actually just copied and pasted my essay. It shows how passionate I am about going to Emory and anesthesia. I wrote the statement for probably 4 months and had almost 20 people look at it. Really, Emory is the only school I want to attend.

I would change it up a little since the prompt is a little different. Both my essays were extremely similar; I just made sure I fully answered the question in each. I did that last year and got accepted. Good luck!

Was this the second time you applied before getting in at Emory? If so, what did you improve to make your application more attractive?

It was. I actually don't attend Emory as I chose another program to attend. I had some pre-reqs to finish for my first app, so I finished those and retook the GRE.
