NOVA-Tampa Hold

Posted by AAdreamer03 User icon on February 16, 2017, 2:34 pm

Anyone know anything about NOVA and how they handle their waitlists? I found out I was placed on hold and I can't find too much information on the chances of getting off of the waitlist. Or if anyone knows how many have been accepted already for this cycle? Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
Im on the waitlist also, but Eric told me that there was no ranking.. when you talked to him what did he tell you?

I know that we can be on the waitlist as long as May and he told me to be patient, but idk when I should exactly find out or call to find out the status of my application. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

I know a few of my classmates were on the waiting list - so you definitely still have a chance. You might be able to call Eric DeRise and ask what your ranking is on the waiting list. He might be able to help you.

Thanks so much for this. It's a bit encouraging. Lol. I didn't even know it was ranked. I'll have to give him a call and see what I'm ranked as.

Do you know if everyone that is interviewed and isn't accepted is put on the hold list?

Some people are denied on the spot. If you are on the waiting list, it means they like you but there are others ahead of you with offers. If those offers aren't accepted, then they go to the waiting list. You could be 1st on the waiting list, or you could be 30th on the waiting list.

Thanks for the info. It's been so helpful! I haven't heard anyone mention the waitlist for NOVA this cycle. But then again, not everyone posts on this forum. It's nice to know that I may still have a chance!
