Emory Interview Etc

Hello Everyone,
I applied to Emory (as you can tell from the subject) and i had two questions that I hope someone could help me with. First, is there anyone that has gotten accepted or been granted and went through the interview? If so, can you give some insight on what your interview was like? Questions, vibes, etc. I'm trying to prep for my interview as a just in case. Second, if accepted how (if you don't mind me asking) are you able to pay for the program.. outside of loans? I guess what I'm hinting at were you able to work? I imagined it would be very consuming so it was definitely a question I wanted to know the answer to. I'm sure this has been asked before so excuse me for being repetitive. Thanks for reading and especially thanks to whomever replies

I interviewed for the early admissions in September and have been accepted. Review your shadowing experiences and really know why you want to be an AA. I enjoyed the interview and thought the program was extremely professional but also welcoming. I know you are not able to work during the program.

Hi mac8812,

I was wondering if you knew how many people interviewed early and how many they were going to accept? I didn't know if they mentioned it in the interview or not. Still waiting to hear back from them! Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure how many total people they interviewed early, but I would guess not more than 20. As far as how many they accepted, I have no idea. They did tell us that even though we interviewed early, they will accept, wait list, and deny a number of people from our session. Good luck to you!

I've replied to emory as well and haven't heard back. But I did get it email saying my application was in review. I don't believe you can work during the duration of the program. And with the interview I believe it will be formal based and a little conversational. I had an interview with case last year but didn't get in because I couldn't take a prereq in time SMH

Thank you so much for you reply! I don't know what's going on but I haven't received that email yet so hopefully it's soon to come. I'll just keep the faith that it will! Thanks For the insight on the interview I think I may watch a couple interviews or try to research some questions that may be asked, I think I'll just continue to ask my anesthesiologist some questions.. she seem to love it

Congrats on the interview invite!
Did they mention which date you were interviewing for?
On their website they have three separate sets of dates for interviews and wasn't sure if they were going down the line or not.
This waiting game is causing so much anxiety.
