Hello, I am grateful to have found this board reading through the posts has been very helpful! Does anyone have any advice on when the best time to apply is? specifically for NOVA FLL. I am currently in my senior year of undergrad and will be taking physics and calc this coming fall semester. I would like to apply in October/November. Is it even possible/advisable to apply before I have my grades for physics and calculus?

I would apply as soon as possible. Admission to the program is highly competitive. It is ok that you are currently, or in the process of completing the prerequisites. Just as long as they are complete before you matriculate.

From my experience with the admissions process (alhtough I did not apply to Nova), I think you should apply as soon as you can. My physics and calc courses occurred outside the 5 year threshold many schools publicize, but my program cared far more about how recently I had taken my biology credits, especially anatomy/physiology, and my GRE.
I think you should strongly consider contacting the admissions department at Nova and ask them directly. My interactions with different departments were almost always warm and helpful.

Hello,
As long as you are already enrolled in the course and have already taken the GRE, I do not see a problem with you applying in October/November. As long as you pass the required courses before the May orientation, you are set. There is a chance, however, that having incomplete courses may slightly hinder your application, but as long as your GPA and GRE are solid, it shouldn't pose too much of a problem; a significant amount of applicants are still finishing up courses when they apply.
