Low or less than favorable GRE scores w/interview

Greetings!
Wanted to know if people were willing to post their low/less than favorable GRE scores that still got them an interview to an AA program? Anyone...Bueller? Thank you! Hope to see some responses soon!

The answer to this question is yes. you can get and interview and be accepted with a gre score of less than a 300 combined, but let me say this you also need to make up for this by being a well rounded applicant with major experience and have a personality that fits the program. Most of all a person with integrity.

Is it safe to assume that you are talking about having at least one if not both of the scores below 150?

Yes @flying. I haven't taken my GREs yet and have been doing well on my practice exams, and reason for my post is I've heard several people speak about "less than favorable or below average GRE scores" and getting granted interviews and some later acceptance...so I am seeing if that's really true. Have people gotten interviews with one or both scores lower than 150-148?

Got it. I sadly (only in the context of being able to help with a response) don't qualify as a person who went through this situation. This is exactly the type of question I would also spend time pondering, but I can tell you definitively that this is a "cross this bridge when you come to it" scenario. Keep working on practice materials, do well on your GRE, and render this whole conversation moot.

Remember - GRE scores are only one of many things they look at and consider. I say work hard in the classroom and don't leave your fate up to a single test.

But my GRE score was 308 and I received interview invitations from Emory, South, Nova FL, Nova Tampa, and MCW. I'm not sure what constitutes a low GRE score though.

Thanks for your response @AA and congrats on your interviews! I know that the schools probably want 150/150 or above and I'm not sure what is considered a "low or less than average/favorable score" either ...I just have heard that some people are getting interviews with lower than average scores and I know 150/section is pretty average and those grades are schools are looking for. So didn't know if this was true or not. Truth has got to be out there somewhere right ? And by all means if people are getting interviews with less than favorable/competitive scores I say more power to them bc they must have some great work exp , impressive GPA and LORs.
