December 14th Emory acceptances?

Has anyone that interviewed at Emory during the general interviews received an email on the 14th concerning their status? Didn't they tell us acceptances, holds, and denials would go out via email on the 14th during the information session at the interview? Any information would help! Thanks y'all!

I interviewed during the second week and have not heard back. Probably not a good thing! I thought they mentioned they would send out acceptances from the 14th through the month of June, but the fact that they sent out acceptances AND waitlists last week makes me very nervous!

Let us know if you hear anything!

I haven't received any email either and that is making me very anxious.

When did you guys interview?

And is there anyone that received an acceptance email yet from the general interviews?

Is there anyone one this forum that received an acceptance from the general interviews? Please respond.

And yes, Congrats on the waitlist jmiller. It's very worrisome not hearing anything :/

I interviewed on the 2nd! Haven't heard anything back either. But there are people who have been accepted from the general interviews. This cannot be a good sign for me. Ugh!

I'll be giving them a call tomorrow to hopefully find out more.

Hi AAdreamer03.. I was just curious if you were able to find out any information today. Mrs. Elder told our group that they would begin notifying on the 14th but that it could possibly be anytime between now and June. I'm just a bit confused about their methodology. If anyone knows anything or can shed some light on the situation, please post.

Hey Athena,
I was not able to get to calling them today because I was working. From what I can tell, I think they are letting people know based on when they interviewed. It seems that way anyways. Because we all most likely had different interviewers. So it depends on them. But I'll try to call tomorrow and see if I can find out anything.

Hey! Did you guys receive any email today regarding your application status from Emory? I called and they said that they were still in the process and it could take until June for final decisions.

I got an email did you? However I'm a bit confused. They sent an email that said I was under further review. What does that mean? I don't think that means a wait list but they said I wasn't rejected. Yet. It's weird being in this limbo.

I received the email as well yesterday and was wondering if everyone received one. Did everyone else receive an email as well? They said that it means exactly what it says in the email. But more than likely, I'm taking it as I'm not accepted and I should prepare for the next cycle.I'm not trying to be discouraging. I'm sorry if I come off that way.

Would you the consider the email as a hold or a waitlist? I'm not so sure about that but the wording in the email is a bit vague. I guess I'll pin my hopes on other programs in the the meantime.

Yes. I agree that the wording is vague, but I would say that it means we have been wait listed.

Does anyone know if Emory ranks their waitlist? I recall Ms. Elder saying you could call to ask for your rank, but I'm not too sure.

Has anyone contacted them or inquired about their ranking? I'm also curious if everyone that wasn't accepted on the first round was sent the same email, or if they sent rejection letters as well.
