Nova application additional info page parts missing?
Posted by surferian on August 4, 2015, 4:18 pm
I just logged on to my Nova app to check over it real quick before I submit it and the additional info page is all of a sudden about a quarter of what it used to be. I am missing both my entries and the questions for the personal statement and activities section and a couple other questions. Is anyone else seeing this? I thought they were going to eventually use a new application not just take a couple of items out of the current one? Whenever I call over to the health professions admissions and ask if they know anything about the application they just flat out tell me they don't really know that much about the AA application process. HA HA, At least they're honest.

Yes it's probably the shortened, newer version someone told me about at Fort Lauderdale. It was posted quicker than I thought it would be. I don't see that because I already submitted mine a couple weeks ago. I do however see a third "application" that I didn't create that appeared yesterday (I have one for Fort Lauderdale and one for Tampa). I believe it's the information from the CASAA that they've finally been able to download! The system now shows it has my transcripts, LOR, license, etc. Once you submit your application you should be able to see the same thing.
Re: Nova application additional info page parts missing?
I doubt it. It's not like your app is any different really, it just has a couple more questions on the additional info page. My application wasn't entirely new, they literally just went in and somehow removed the personal statement and activities questions. Everything else was the same. You can call and ask to be safe, but I wouldn't see the point in making anyone resubmit the "old" one.
