I spoke with someone else today and he stated that the current link on CASAA isn't necessarily for the "incorrect" application, it's just for the outdated one. They created another newer application that is much more simplified, but hasn't been fully approved through the university yet. He said to go ahead and submit it since I already filled it out. He stated worst case scenario would be that those of us who completed the old one early would have to fill out the newer application once it's approved through the university and our fee would be waived. Best case scenario is that their system will still accept the older, longer version of the supplemental application and they won't need any more information. Also he said he could see my detailed CASAA application with my stats and everything, so hopefully they have that figured out now. Finally, he also stated that if admissions gets their act together they should start looking at applications and sending out invites for interviews as early as next week. He said the interviews would most likely be scheduled for late August/early September. If there are any more snags with downloading the CASAA applications he said it might delay the invites by a week or two. Sorry for the long-winded response, but if anyone has had my experience I've heard so many different things from different people. Hopefully this clears it up a bit and gives a better timeline of what to expect!

I think kdice is probably right. If the current NOVA app really wasn't the right one then they would surely send out an email to say so since they have our contact info from CASAA. It wouldn't make any since for that to be the wrong one and them to not have said anything at this point. You shouldn't have to call there to figure that out, they should send out a mass email if that is the case. At the end of the day submitting the current app shouldn't hurt you any way so no harm done if you do.
