Shadowing in Atlanta

Hello all! I am starting the application process this summer, but I am having problems finding shadowing experience in Atlanta. Does anyone know of any hospitals that will allow shadowing in the Atlanta Area?

Problems in Atlanta?? Did u try calling Emory's program and asking them? Otherwise google some anesthesia groups or go on gas work to get in contact with the right people. Atlanta has the most AA's so it shouldn't be hard at all.

You are no longer allowed to shadow at Emory unless you are a student there or a faculty member. I am also looking for some hospitals in Atlanta to shadow, if anyone has any contact numbers...

Hey aa14, contact the anesthesia groups from specific hospitals. I shadowed at DeKalb Medical Center. Good luck!

Ill try DeKalb Medical Center. I tried Piedmont anesthesia group and Emory and they do not allow it. Thank you for the tip!

Did it take long for you to get in to shadow with someone?
