Hey everyone, I see that most programs say they require the GRE or the MCAT. Would it hurt my chances by only submitting the GRE if it was good? And also, are there schools that require both the GRE and the MCAT? Just wondering if I should focus my time on getting more experience in the hospital/shadowing anesthetists/ possible CNA training or if I should focus on getting a good MCAT score? Thanks

I only submitted the GRE and I am attending this Summer.

I only submitted my GRE score when it was optional. I know of others who did that as well. If the program asked for both such as Nova and Colorado then I listed both. No schools require both scores but some schools only accept the MCAT. I don't recommend taking the MCAT unless the school that you want to attend requires it (I remember the Kansas-Missouri school is 1 that requires it). I suggest more shadowing experience.

To clarify why I listed both my scores on Nova and Colorado application, it said something along the lines of if both tests taken please list scores. On Emory application, for example, it said GRE OR MCAT.
