Nova Tampa program interview questions -- advice appreciated!

I am lucky to have an interview scheduled soon for Nova Tampa's AA program, and I just had a few questions regarding the interview itself. I have read that the actual interview itself is very laid-back at the Tampa program, but are there any specific things I should keep in mind or be made aware of?

Also, who usually conducts the interviews at Tampa? Is it the same faculty members who also conduct the interviews at the Ft. Lauderdale program?

I agree with determinedAA. I interviewed there back in October and it was super laid back. They already know you have the brains, so show off your personality. I had a really good experience and hope you do too! Good luck and let us know how it goes (I'll be attending there next year)!

jessicajay, do you mind if I ask what kind of healthcare-related experience you had when you were invited for an interview? Also, did you interview at Nova Ft. Lauderdale? If so, what kinds of differences did you note between the two interviewing experiences?

Hey FutureAnesthetist,

The interview is very laid back and it may sound cliche but a lot of it is based on your personality. They want to know your smart, confident, and people person. The interviewers are different from Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale. Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks for the info. Just out of curiosity, at the time you received your interview invitation, did you have any healthcare work experience?

Also, if you interviewed at Nova Ft. Lauderdale as well, what differences would you note between the two interviewing processes? I'm just curious, especially since you said different faculty members interview applicants at each program.
