emory interview notices?

have people started receiving interview notices for early admission to Emory?

I think it was ok. It definitely was not as stressful as I expected it to be. What about yours? Did you interview yesterday or on Tuesday? And, do you know how many people they accept from early interviews?

I had mine on Tuesday. Which day were you? Yeah, it wasn't as stressful and when I think back I don't think they asked that many questions either... I have no idea how many people they accept from early but the impression I got was that it wasn't a restrictive number either... I was surprised at the statistics though. 100 applied, 26 invited for early, 38 total seats. Let's both post if we hear back? The timeline is a bit agonizing, "notify from oct-feb about decisions" haha.

yeah i got a notice yesterday too that "this is NOT a rejection letter" yada yada, so i guess that is wait list? hmm interesting. does that mean we are considered after early interviewees or after regular interviewees?

I think they will consider us after all the interviews. So, if you get accepted it will be between January and May when people start to drop out due to acceptances to other schools.

Congrats on the acceptance, 3_Antibodies. I too got an acceptance letter yesterday. It's so nice to finally be able to begin the next chapter. ;-)

I'm most certainly going to Emory; I applied to Emory and South, but Emory was my first choice. So glad to get an early interview invite. I'm just so glad to know officially...now I just have to get that deposit in.

Mrgasman, have you received your acceptance letter and tuition fee response form yet? I haven't and am getting a little worried since the two week deadline is coming up on Monday.

Hey, sorry for the late response. Yes, I got my letter/tuition response form in the mail on the 19th. I returned everything last week and found out that Emory received my documents on the 24th. I hope you've gotten yours by now. I also got the letter/tuition response form in an e-mail as an attachment before actually getting the hard copy in the mail.

if you were accepted on the 19, when did you have your interview? I interviewed a few weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything - wait list, rejection, or acceptance. I'm nervous because they said I should hear back in about 3 weeks. the anticipation is killing me!

My interview day was on October 8th, and I received my acceptance via e-mail on October 14th. I got my hard-copy/in the mail acceptance on the 19th. I definitely can relate to your anxiety, as I was a nervous wreck up until I got their e-mail. Just keep thinking positive thoughts...that's what helped me.
