For the recommendation form, should I get my teaching partner or my supervisor to write me the recommendation form? I feel like my teaching partner knows my day-to-day work ethic and habits better and would give me higher marks. Would it be alright to get it from her instead of my supervisor?
Re: Supervisor or Colleague for Recommendation Form
I feel like the recommendation of someone who knows you well would be better. One of my recommendations was from a TA, whom I chose over the professor because I worked more directly with him and he knew me better. I don't think rank is as important as painting a complete picture of the applicant. But I can't say for sure.
