The Waiting Game After Early Interview Invites!

Has anyone gotten any info on admittance/rejection after early interviews?

I've been religiously checking emails and missed phone logs for the past couple of weeks. I wonder how much longer we have to wait.

Emory said Dec 14-21, but according to some of the past year's posts, it seems a few people found out earlier than they expected to. I believe they will contact you by email. South notifies quickly, should be early in the week after your interview, and I believe it's by phone but it could be email as well. I know a girl who interviewed at South either last weekend or the one before and has already found out her acceptance decision.

ALSO, Emory said at their interview that they could accept or reject you outright, OR they could hang on to you until after all the interviews are finished and then decide. So if you don't hear anything yet, it's not necessarily bad. Maybe not the best case scenario, but not the worst either. I don't know if other schools do that or not.

Congrats! I got an email today as well. In your opinion, what are the most important factors in choosing the program that you want to attend?

Congrats to you all! I'm choosing Case due to small class sizes, teachers, and rotations/job placement.

What about you guys?

Hey Sam, did you ever end up hearing from Nova?
I remember a few posts back you mentioned that you were gonna go to all the interviews to see how the program is, even though you were leaning towards Case.

I ended up not going to the Nova interviews. I was originally told I didn't have my prereqs done (even though I did). After about two weeks though i received a call from Tampa asking me if I was still interested in the program. I told them the story of how the Ft. Lauderdale guy told me I didn't have the prereqs. I forwarded the the e-mail I sent to the Ft. Lauderdale guy explaining my classes (the one he didn't accept) to the Tampa guy. I got no response from the second e-mail until I received interviews for both Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale! I couldn't attend the Ft. Lauderdale or Tampa interview dates due to the late notice though, but I DID tell them I would like a later date. 3 months later I have not heard from Ft. Lauderdale or Tampa, and when I call Tampa the guys voicemail box is always full!!

So long story short, based on my experience with NOVA preinterview I decided the program wasn't the right "fit" for me.

I'm still curious to see their facilities though to compare.

That's a really weird story. But I'm sure Case is going to be a great experience for you.
