Hello guys. I gave my GRE recently and scored 303/340. In QUANTS I scored 152/170 and in verbal 151/170. According to prior scoring scale in QUANTS I have 670 and VERBAL- 470. I am a Pharmacy student and have completed Third Year of pharmacy. Can anyone please tell me what are my chances getting admission in Emory, Nova or South University on GRE score Will this score be good enough for them to consider my application or should i retake gre? I am planning to apply for 2013. I got information that Nova university needs a degree before i apply but Emory university does accept the six semesters transcripts. I did see on the university site what score they required but after going through this message board I am in a bit of a dilemma whether my score is good enough to go for the application. I havent given my academic results for evaluation but do have considerably good academics.
Did you take all the prerequisites for the programs? Organic/ Biochem etc? GRE seems fine but I'm pretty sure most of the decision is the whole package including gpa, work experience, volunteering, something interesting. We know nothing but your gre so it's hard to tell u if you are competitive. I know many who have been accepted with that score or even lower, but they have other attributes aside from just being a good student.
Thank you for your prompt reply. Yes, i have taken the prerequisites.
I will be sending my first six semester academic record soon for getting the GPA.Hopefully i should get good GPA.
As far as experience is concerned i do not have experience because i am yet to finish the pharmacy course i.e 2 semesters left to complete the course. Can you please tell me what kind of experience is required?? Is it like clinical experience is a must? Or will experience in pharmacy will do the needful?
I have considerable achievements in extracurricular activities.
I am very much interested in this AA program so i would be obliged if you could advice me on the same to improve my chances of getting accepted in this program.
