No I have wanted to be a doctor for quite awhile, but b/c my undergrad gpa is lower and my MCAT is low I needed to enter a post-bac program. At midwesterns masters program I take classes w/all sorts of medical professional students like PA, CRNA, perfusionist, DO ect. Also being here at a profession school I am surrounded my students/doctors from all fields and it has really made me think about my career choice. I have started to second guess if I want to commit to missing 8-10 years of my family to become a DO. Also I have a few CRNA family members so the profession has always been of interest, but with my premedical background I would rather attend AA school then become an RN and go through the nursing profession. Like I said previously AA is a new profession to me b/c they are not licensed to practice in Nebraska so I didn't know there was a CRNA counterpart for people not wanting the nursing background. Thanks
