I would say that South would be the hardest place to do your rotations nearby. The Atlanta and Miami area both have a ton of hospitals, and therefore clinical sites available. I'm married and feel the same way as you do, but I'm pretty sure I'll be away for at least a few months out during clinicals...but hey, even while im in town here just taking classes, there are days when I dont really see my wife. Some nights I get home after she is asleep and I leave before she wakes up. But hey, its just two years right.
