You will learn fast that the application process is not a well-oiled machine. Rec letters gets lost, scores and transcripts "misplaced", and applications are not updated on the daily. Right now admissions are receiving a s&%t ton of application material and things slip through the cracks so to speak.
You WILL have to turn in a summary at some point. So my advice is to do it, send it in, and make sure to have a copy somewhere accessible.
Even if you get accepted verbally, they will re-examine your application to make sure it is FULLY complete. I got accepted and got an e-mail a month before orientation stating they only received one of my rec. letters and I needed to crap out the other two before I showed up to school.
So don't wait until they realize their mistake. Send it.
